Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to information collected by Cliffport Business Capital ("Cliffport", "we", "us") through this website, the online request form, phone calls, text messages and email. It covers business owners and their representatives who contact us about business funding. Our mailing address appears on the contact page.
Information You Give Us
Submitting the online request gives us:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Company name (optional)
- Time in business, picked from a range
- Annual revenue, picked from a range
- Requested amount, picked from a range
- Your consent choices and the time you gave them
On calls or in the request form you may also tell us what the money is for, how your customers pay you, and other details about the business. If a funding partner later asks for records such as bank statements or tax returns, we will explain what is being requested and why before anything is shared.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, ours receives technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you and approximate time of the visit. The form provider may record when and how a form was submitted. The map on the contact page loads from Google only if you press the button to show it.
How We Use Information
- To call, text or email you about your request
- To understand what the money is for and which funding options may fit
- To prepare a short file for a funding partner, with your agreement
- To log consent and our messages with you
- To operate, protect and refine the site
- To satisfy legal duties and answer lawful demands
When We Share Information
We share your information with a funding partner only after you agree to have your request reviewed by that partner. Partners use it to assess the request under their own privacy policies. We also use service providers that host the website, run the form and handle phone and messaging; they process data for us under contract.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of the business.
Text Messages and Calls
If you give consent, we may contact you by phone and text about your request. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to stop texts and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. The SMS terms linked in the footer give the full details.
Retention of Request Records
We keep request and consent records for as long as needed to handle the request and to meet record-keeping duties, then delete or de-identify them.
Security
The form submits over an encrypted connection and access to request records is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your Choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you, to correct information, or to delete your request records, by calling (409) 235-9441. We will act on requests that the law allows; we may keep consent records needed to honor an opt-out.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. Information from minors is never knowingly gathered.
Changes to This Policy
This policy can change. The date at the top of the page will change when we do, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
